Bottles of Hope (“BOH”) are small glass bottles covered with polymer clay and given to cancer patients. They symbolize a wish and a hope for health
This project was started in 1999 by Diane Gregoire, a cancer survivor, and has spread internationally. BOH are made by artists, students, survivors, seniors and many more who volunteer their time and love.
In 2015 our guild began making BOH under the direction of our then-president Anne Rowe. We began giving our BOH to the cancer program at the University of Kansas Hospital to distribute to new patients.
