8 From 1: Intensive Flower Caning Workshop
Wow! 12 people attended this intense, 2-day workshop with the incredible teacher and artist Lynne Ann Schwarzenberg. A pleasant and relaxed atmosphere belied the hard work, challenges and focus that takes place in a well-run class. No one wanted to leave for lunch, so we all brought food to share and spent the weekend working and watching a highly skilled artist at work. Very inspiring! We were using one single Skinner blend to make a wide variety of flower canes, learning techniques for petals, veins, centers, reducing, uses for scrap clay and much, much more.
