2008 National Polymer Clay Guild Synergy Conference

"It was a wonderful event. Carol Duvall spoke at 10:30 (which was so much fun!), then I volunteered in the gallery & spent a couple hours at the ACC show, plus I had 3 seminars. I only had one seminar that I didn't care for at all, and had 2 that were outstanding! The last one I did on Saturday was by far the best choice for me, "Creative Sparks" with Dayle Doroshow. I left it feeling like I could conquer the world of clay & had mucho inspiration pouring through my veins! I am so, so glad I attended this conference." Debbie Updegraff

This was me working hard at volunteering with registration on Wednesday. Definitely not looking my best! I'd been up since 3:00 am and been on two planes, a shuttle, and a taxi. This was around 3 pm, and I think I was sleep walking! See more photos from the Synergy conference at

2008 Cabin Fever Central - Maryland Polymer Clay Guild

Also on the East Coast were fellow guild members Carol and Michelle who were in Baltimore at ALMOST the same time for Donna Kato's Cabin Fever Conference. There were 6 teachers:  Sarah Shriver, Maureen Carlson, Marie Segal, Nan Roche, Jana Benzon, Christie Friesen, Julie Picarello and Donna Kato.
